🍦 Ice Cream Social – This Sunday!

You’re invited to Pack 1714’s Ice Cream Social Party this Sunday, July 27th from 3–5 PM in the field in front of the North Hampton Clubhouse! Come cool off with ice cream and popsicles, play some awesome games, and meet new friends as we kick off an exciting new scouting year. This is a great opportunity for new families to get a feel for what Pack 1714 is all about—fun, friendship, and adventure. Bring a friend and join the fun!

📅 Sign-Up Night – August 11th

Mark your calendars! We’ll be hosting our Sign-Up Night on Sunday, August 11th at the Mountain View Elementary Cafeteria. If you’re new to scouting or just checking us out, this is the perfect time to learn more, ask questions, and join our growing pack. We can’t wait to welcome you!

🏁 Upcoming Adventures

This fall is going to be epic! We’re heading to the Talladega Speedway for an unforgettable scouting experience in November, and we’re also planning an adventurous camping trip to the Okefenokee Forest—complete with campfires, wildlife, and memories to last a lifetime.

And that’s just the beginning. Pack 1714 is rolling into the new school year with high energy and big plans—join us and be a part of it!

School Beautification this Saturday

We received notification from Mountain View Elementary that they’ll be doing a School Beautification Day this Saturday, and we’ll have some folks out there between 8:30 and 10:00 AM. If you’d like to join, we’d love to see you there! Please have your scouts and any attending scout leaders wear their Pack 1714 t-shirts so we can easily spot and support one another.

Meet and Greet

Get ready for another year of scouting. Pack 1714 will be happy to meet some new scouts for the 2024-2025 school year at Mountain View Elementary School. The scout leaders will answer questions on how kids can enjoy the outdoors through scouting. With the Pack, kids can get to know other scouts from different age groups who attend Mountain View and other local schools. The can build friendship, leadership and camping skills. The year has been planned but Pack1714 is waiting for future scouts to enjoy the outdoors.

When: July 30th

Where: Mountain View Elementary Gym

Time: 7:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Who can join: any student Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Pack Activity

Pack Crossover

As the school year is wrapping up, so does the adventures of scouting. The Crossover meeting was held at Pack 1714’s favorite local park, MacFarlane Nature Park. The scouts completed all their hard work to advance to the next den level. To commemorate the occasion, they walk across the bridge one by one. At the end of the bridge, they receive their neckerchief for their new assigned den. Afterwards, the scouts celebrated by eating Kona Ice in color changing cups and playing Gaga ball. Everyone had a great time celebrating another fun of year of scouting. The scouts had fun camping in new locations, went to learn about space exploration, earn badges, and learned to work together as a team while having fun. What will the adventures be next year? The parents and leaders will plan for another exciting year with new adventures.
